Under new ownership since July 2005, Bear Valley Mountain Resort and Bear Valley Village are in the midst of developing a revitalized look, that will offer improved services and a strengthened connection via a new high speed "Town Lift".

The New Village at Bear Valley will be designed to blend into its pristine surroundings while growing into a lively family oriented community. The designers want it to have a "sense of place"-a place that visitors and residents can enjoy year round.

The new development is the realization of a dream that began nearly thirty years ago with a 1978 Master Plan for Bear Valley .  It will blend fresh ideas with fundamental needs of the community. Plans  for development and construction feature a mix of retail, condominiums and fractional ownership properties.
